Ask any keen cyclist and they will tell you the frame is the most important part of the cycle. It gives the cycle strength and is what everything else is attached to. Any damage to the frame will have consequences to the cycle’s performance, especially if the frame gets bent or crooked.

Your frame is your skeleton, and the shape of it affects your posture. Since, everything inside you is secured to the frame (organs, muscles, ligaments, etc), it is a critical part of your physical health.

So, any injury or damage that makes your frame crooked is going to affect everything else attached to it. Also, a crooked frame is unstable and wants to fall over, making your muscles work harder to hold you up. If this situation isn’t corrected, it only gets worse with time. It will never correct itself.

This stress is contributing to much of the muscle and joint pain you are feeling. E.g headaches, neck and back pain, sciatica, shoulder pain, pinching, numbness, weakness, tingling, the list goes on and on.

I hope this helps you to understand the basics about your frame/posture, how you stay upright and how injuries to your skeleton cause you pain and disability.

Congratulations, you already know more than most of the ‘experts’ out there. But this is not enough, I want you to build on this, as knowledge is power.
